As part of the Bramley Neighbourhood Plan process, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council (BDBC) have issued the “Notice of Referendum”.  This is the document that supplies the full details about the referendum process with respect to how to register to vote if you are not yet registered to vote. If you are already registered to vote in Local and Government Elections for the Parish of Bramley, you are registered to vote in this referendum and will receive your voting cards in the post before the referendum date. If you going to be away on the day of the vote, you are able to vote by Proxy or Postal Vote. The key dates on when new registrations and proxy/postal applications are shown below.

The details below were accurate as of Friday 6th January 2017 and any updates will be posted here as soon as possible.  Please check the Basingstoke and Deane website when close to the cut off dates shown below.

A Referendum will be held on Thursday 9^th February 2017 to decide on the following question – 

“Do you want Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Bramley to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?”

Applications to register to vote or to vote by post or proxy should be made to the Electoral Registration Officer at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council , Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH based on the deadlines set out below.
