July 18, 2016 | Malcolm Bell Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is now in receipt of the final submission version of the Bramley Neighbourhood Plan (NP) along with all accompanying documentation required under the Regulations. The Bramley NP sets out a vision for the parish and planning policies which will be used to determine planning applications locally and guide development in the parish up until 2029. The Submission Bramley NP is now subject to formal public consultation from Monday 18 July to 4pm on Monday 5 September 2016. What does the Submission Bramley NP consist of and where can they be viewed? The Submission Bramley NP consists of the following which can be viewed on the council’s website at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/BramleyNP: Proposed Bramley NP Strategic Environmental Assessment Report Consultation Statement Basic Conditions Statement These documents, along with a guidance note, are also available for public inspection at Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council Offices between the hours of 8:30am and 5:00pm on Mondays to Thursdays and 8:30am and 4.30pm on Fridays. They will also be available for inspection at Basingstoke Discovery Centre and Chineham libraries in the borough during their normal opening hours, and in Bramley Village Hall, The Street, Bramley, RG26 5BP. Additionally, the full evidence base to the Bramley NP can be viewed on the Bramley Parish Council website at https://bramleyndp.org.uk/neighbourhood-development-plan-submission/ How can you make your representations? Representations in relation to the Bramley NP and supporting documents should be submitted to the council using one of the following methods: online response form at www.basingstoke.gov.uk/BramleyNP return representation form or submit written comments by post to: Planning Policy Team, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council, Civic Offices, London Road, Basingstoke RG21 4AH return representation form or submit written comments by email to: local.plan@basingstoke.gov.uk Only those representations that are made in writing and that are received by the council within the consultation period (ending at 4pm on Monday 5 September) will be considered. All responses will then be forwarded to the plan’s examiner once he/ she is appointed. When making your representation, please can you indicate whether you wish to be participate in an Examination Public Hearing (should the examiner decide there is a need) and also whether you wish to be notified about the Examiner’s Report and the ‘Made’ Bramley NP.
