Thumbs-upOn the 15th July 2016,  the Bramley Neighbourhood Plan working group received word from Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council that “the Plan” that has been in development complies with all the statutory requirements and can proceed to the next stage.

Therefore, I am pleased to confirm that the LPA is satisfied that the Neighbourhood Plan and process followed complies with the statutory requirements as set out in paragraph 6 of Schedule 4B of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 (as amended).

The Bramley Neighbourhood Plan will now be published for Regulation 16 consultation with a view to then making the plan available for independent examination.

The Local Planning Authority (LPA) is now required to publish the consultation along with details on how to respond on the Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council website (http://www.basingstoke.gov.uk/BramleyNP).

Edward Rehill (Principle Planning Officer) wrote:

The LPA commends the Bramley Neighbourhood Planning Group for all the hard work to reach such an advanced stage in the neighbourhood plan making process.

Congratulations to the Steering group and the people of Bramley who have helped us reach this stage.
